Convention Championship 2019
It’s time to power up as we hit the final stretch into the 2019 Oceania Championship Finals. Over the course of the three days of PAX Australia 2019 we will be hosting constructed and team battle tournaments with amazing prizes for everyone. There will be one singles constructed tournament per day, and one sealed team battles on Saturday.
Up for grabs at all the events will be 1st Round Byes and free entry to the Oceania Championship Finals for the winners.
Singles Events – Friday 5pm, Saturday 11am, Sunday 11am
Entry: $20 (+ Eventbrite fees) pre-registration, $30 on-site registration (if seats are available)
Format: Constructed, 60 minute Best of 3 rounds, Swiss Only – no Top Cut

Team Battles – Friday 1pm
Each team of three players will receive three starter decks (the same selection for all teams) plus 2 boosters per player to help craft their decks.
Entry: $75 (+ Eventbrite fees) pre-registration, $90 on-site registration (if seats are available)
Format: Sealed, 30 minute Best of 1 per match, with the team winning 2/3 matches winning the round – Swiss Only – no Top Cut

Draft Events – Friday 11am, Saturday 3pm, Sunday 2pm
Players will be placed into pods of four for booster drafting. Create your deck from the cards drafted, and compete against the other players in your pod!

Format: Draft – 30 minute Best of 1 per match – Round Robin
